Square Button

Internal / physical Interactive 5 in 3 out

Outputs a wire signal when clicked. Remains active so long as the interact button is held down.

Diagram

Ports drawn from the source data: inputs left, outputs right, config inside.

How it's used

A button brick players press. Outputs whether it’s held, who pressed it, and how many are holding it.

Open a door while held

  1. Place a Square Button near the door.
  2. Wire its Held output into the door's open control.
  3. Its Character output tells you who pressed it; wire that where you need the player.

Port names (Held, Character, Holder Count) come from the inventory. Behavior beyond that: verify in-game.

Place the gates and drag wires between the named ports. Port names come from the gate catalog; behavior is documented, not independently tested — confirm in-game.
